The Leading of the Spirit
“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God” – Romans 8: 14-16 NKJV
The leading of the Spirit is the most precious thing to a believer. It is impossible to live a victorious christian life without it, and the devil will do everything possible to distract us from growing in this respect. When we stay devoted to an active relationship with the Holy spirit we begin to receive a deep understanding and assurance of our place as children of God and our Father gradually becomes unveiled to us.
The witness which the Holy Spirit bears within us is an authentic witness, no one and nothing else can do as good a job of assuring us of our place in God than the Holy Spirit can.
May the grace to embrace intimate communion with the Holy Spirit come upon you in Jesus name.
