School of the Spirit 2021

You are specially invited to join us as we begin 2021 with a 5-day supernatural experience in the Word and Spirit.
School of the Spirit is an annual non-denominational meeting for Christians from various local churches and assemblies who would like to take their spiritual walk and knowledge of God to the next level.
In this 2021 event, we will be exploring the subject of the fulness of Christ,
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;…”
“Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ” – Ephesians 3:17, 4:13
The general concept of Christ as the way to God has been a firmly settled doctrine in the Church since its inception but over time there has been significant variance in the interpretation and application of this simple doctrine in the lives of individual Christians.
There is a common simplistic view which appropriates the provision of Christ as the way to God in a strictly abstract and transactional manner i.e. “Christ paid for our sins with his blood and now as a result, if we simply believe in this transaction, we can have direct access to God as our Father”. This simplistic view possesses some basic elements of truth but it falls short. It does not give much room for considerations about the lingering inherent tendency to sin and it ignores the reality that a believer’s nature as manifested through their thoughts and actions can still differ significantly from what we perceive to be the righteous natures of Christ and God. This view typically interpretes ‘coming to God’ simply in terms of prayer or eventual access to heaven.
A more spiritually sophisticated view of the gospels and epistles under the dispensation of the ‘word of righteousness’ has exposed a whole different and vital conversation about coming to God. This view exposes the central purpose of the New Testament which is to eliminate the separation between man’s soul and God in an inwardly real sense. It interprets the doctrine of reconciliation in terms of the inherent nature of man coming into the same righteous essence of Christ and God. Through this lens we have begun to see that the entire New Testament is filled with this central thought of true oneness with Christ and God, with Apostle Paul in Ephesians 3 and 4 expounding on the concepts of ‘measure’ and ‘fulness’ in Christ including specific mention of the dimensions of width, length, height and depth.
In this year’s School of the Spirit, by God’s grace, we will consider the full stature of Christ. We will build on our understanding of Christ’s nature and essence in the word of righteousness, and explore the accumulation unto fulness of Christ’s substances as being the effective way into the nature and essence of the Father and God.
