Our Vision and Mission

Our vision is Christ. And our mission is to assist in strengthening local churches in the task of perfecting the saints for the work of the ministry and the edifying of the body of Christ. A perfect people are those who have partaken of Christ’s Life, have been built up to the point where the life of Christ finds full expression in them, thereby enabling them to adequately fulfill their function in the body of Christ, which will eventually “come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, and to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ”.

As revealed in Ephesians 4, this perfection will inevitably be achieved by the full functioning of the five-fold ministry. As some believers who attend Life Meetings are inclined towards one or more of the five-fold ministry, Life Meetings serves as a platform to bring about a restoration of the five fold ministry by raising the ministers in the Word and the Spirit, making them capable of equipping the saints for the work of ministry and for the edifying of the body of Christ.

A vital element of our mission is to partner with the Holy Spirit in fulfilling Jesus Christ’s mandate on the earth as revealed in John 10:10 – “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly“. Life Meetings are platforms raised by the Holy Spirit for the unhindered expression and communication God’s life to the people of God through fellowship with the living Word.

The Life of the Godhead, which is eternal and incorruptible is expressly and completely embodied in the Son – Jesus Christ, who is the brightness of God’s glory and the express image of His person. To ‘have the Son’ is to have the substance and content of His person in our soul and spirit. The substance of the Son is that which was from the beginning – that eternal ‘Logos’ (Word) which was made flesh in Jesus Christ, was expressed in Him while He walked the earth, and eternally bears witness in heaven.

The provision of God’s son to humanity is to the end that the life of God which is contained in Him might be made available to mankind. The Life Meetings platform has been raised to facilitate this transaction of life primarily by the instrument of revelation through the unveiling of the holy scriptures, under the inspiration and leading of the Holy Spirit.

Life Meeetings are neither traditional ‘religious’ gatherings, nor do they exist in place of the local church. We believe in the full, complete restoration of local churches. Believers who attend Life Meetings are typically committed members of a local church, are playing their individual roles in perfecting the church of Christ, gradually raising her up to her bridal state.
