About Life Meetings

Life Meetings is a Christian ministry for believers from various local churches who meet regularly to explore the depths and riches of life in Jesus Christ and to push the boundaries of Christian unity and fellowship in an enriching atmosphere of the Holy Spirit. The Life Meetings platform was inspired by the Lord in the summer of 2013 and with much divine assistance, began to be realized in September of the same year.

Life Meetings is NOT a church. We are a ministry in the body of Christ. Our meetings are attended by believers who are committed, active members of their respective local churches. The purpose of Life Meetings as a part of the Body of Christ is to serve as ground for support and spiritual reinforcement for local churches in the task of growing believers into the full stature of Christ, and to provide a platform for communion with the Lord Jesus Christ together with the saints in all denominations and assemblies from all nations, tongues and peoples of the world. Life Meetings also serves to reveal and proffer the course of righteousness as an alternative to “the course of this world”, which has held many sway under the power of sin. Those who attend Life Meetings find it as a means to explore the deep things of God and be developed into mature, spiritually effective servants and leaders at their respective local churches. Life Meetings are held weekly in individual units or multiple times a week in certain units.

Life Meetings began on the morning of Saturday, September 14, 2013 with meetings held simultaneously in the cities of Winnipeg and Edmonton, Canada, without prior arrangement. Brethren in both cities had communicated previously about the direction of the Holy Spirit to begin meetings based on similar mandates which they had received. The Holy Spirit, however, leading the separate groups to begin their meetings on the same morning without prior agreement was taken as a confirmation of an earlier revelation that these units should be connected by the same vision. It was further revealed that similar platforms will be raised around the world by the Holy Spirit to fulfil this divine mandate.

What to Expect

“And we have such trust through Christ toward God. Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God, who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” – 2 Corinthians 3:5-6

“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” – John 16:13.

At Life Meetings, the word of truth is rightly divided under an uncompromised atmosphere of the Spirit, maintained by strict adherence His leading and direction, ensuring access to divine truth. Fountains of life in the living word are unveiled with the Spirits of wisdom, revelation and counsel in manifestation. Believers who attend Life Meetings consistently will gradually be built up, become grounded in the word of righteousness and will be able to navigate life skillfully with mature understanding and consciousness of the perfect will of God.

The continuous communication and reception of the word of righteousness builds up a testimony within believers that enables them to overcome weaknesses in their souls and the snares of the ‘wicked one’. Also, as the substance and expression of the life of God increases, believers will begin to realise their individual callings and giftings, empowering them to serve better in their local churches and ultimately fulfil their part in the body of Christ.

Life Meetings, by the help of the Holy Spirit, are lively and dynamic. The meetings cater both to babes and mature believers, to ‘children’ and to ‘sons’ alike. During Life Meetings, the counsel of God is delivered on both ‘milk’ and ‘strong meat’ levels by skillful workmen. The emphasis on obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit ensures that the needs of the people of God are accurately and sufficiently met.
