Romans 8:1: “Now there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus”.
A life in Christ means to be free from accusation but there is 1 condition. And this is – Living in your faith, established and firm.
“But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation — 23 if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel.” Colossians 1:22-23
If you truly are living in Christ and Christ in you (the engrafted word, James 1:21) – whenever the Father sees you, He sees His “Son” – the lamb, pure and holy. Therefore God cannot accuse those who are in Christ because when He sees you, He sees the blood of His Son (his physical body), He sees an image of the purity of Christ in you and therefore you are under the camouflage of Christ Jesus bearing His name – His name is righteous, His name is Holy, His name is the ‘lamb’ (a symbol of purity) – A name that cannot be accused.
Therefore, if you cannot be accused – then you cannot be condemned; except Christ spits you out of His mouth. In Revelation 1, Christ gave his warnings to the 7 churches. To the first, He gave a warning of love (that is their lack of it). To the second, a warning of their lack of faith and the third a rebuke to love righteousness for His name’s sake. To the fourth, a caution to hate corruption and to the fifth a call for Holiness. To the sixth church, He encouraged to persevere and to the seventh church – He marked out where you can find true riches – The revelation of Himself to you (A blessed life!)
If Christ spews you out of Him, you will look different from him – impure. God will now begin to see you as you are (without the camouflage of Christ Jesus), darkened because you are out of the sun which covers your iniquities. In this state, the accusation laid out against you becomes visible, naked before eyes of God. And the bible says, ‘God cannot behold iniquity’.
The call of God for mankind is that we come under the camouflage of Christ Jesus that we may be under the sun, where all God sees of you is pure, without blemish and Holy (Colossians 1:22)
Blessed be God, the Father of our Lord Jesus, who has made known the mysteries of His love to those who seek Him!
